Test 1: Occlusion Culling in UE4.27
The first set of tests is done in UE4.27 – this is a good comparison test. The scene uses dynamic lighting and uses cascaded shadow maps.
ISMs
For the ISM, the amount of instances had to be dramatically reduced. ISMs in UE4 are all fixed on LOD0 so the performance is not great.


HISMs
HISMs perform much better.
